Companies are using product licensing, patent transactions, mergers and acquisitions to build patent portfolios for various reasons and as part of new growth strategies. But searching in the life sciences and biochemical technology areas is extraordinarily complex and projects require multiple people to be aligned on goals and strategies.

Searching advances in chemistry and related sciences requires human intelligence and a wealth of specialized knowledge. The key insights such searching can provide is a critically important part of due diligence for any high-stakes deals.

While there is a need to preserve capital and cut costs, to the greatest extent reasonably possible, success in these initiatives is of paramount importance.

This panel will share insights on successfully navigating IP-driven, high-stakes business transactions, and how to ensure your teams have the right information for success.

Speakers:  Heidi Berven, Ph.D., Partner & Co-leader, Patent Practice Group, Honigman; Paul Coletti, Associate Patent Counsel, Johnson & Johnson; Matthew McBride, Director of IP Search, CAS, Gene Quinn, President, CEO & Founder, IPWatchdog, Inc.
