Introduction
The PIUG Northeast Conference brings together experts in the areas of chemistry, biology, other sciences, engineering, and legal topics relating to patent information. It is an excellent forum to learn and share best practices regarding a specific process in searching and retrieving patent information. Vendors will be available to discuss their expertise and products. The key objective of this five-day meeting is to provide opportunities for learning, networking and professional development.

Hotel
The The Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick, NJ, is 4 blocks from the NJ Transit train station and NJ Transit bus line. See the travel page for more information on getting to the conference site.
Room rates
The hotel offers a room rate of $159.00 per room during the conference and up to three days before and after depending on room availability: arrive as early as Thursday, October 18 and depart as late as Monday, October 29, 2010.
The cutoff date for conference reservations rate is September 30, 2012.
The hotel policy is 4:00 pm check-in and noon check-out and to provide storage space for guests who arrive early or depart after the requested check-out time with advance notice.
Hotel reservations
Go to the The Heldrich.com and select the BOOK NOW link. Select Group Reservation, located along the top of the screen. Input your Attendee Code 169366 and then click the Attendee Login Button. This will bring you to the PIUG reservations page, listing some general information about your group meeting and the hotel. Input your Arrival and Departure Dates and the number of guests and then click Continue. Select your preferred Bed Type, fill in the appropriate Information Fields, and then click Submit. If you require telephone assistance with your reservation, please call +1 866-609-4700 between 8:00 am and 8:pm Eastern time and give the reservation agent Attendee Code 169366 to secure your reservation.
Parking
The parking facility (unaffiliated with the hotel) is at 70 New Street between George and Neilson Streets, about one block south and east of the hotel; see the detailed directions for the parking facility. Self parking is charged at the rate of $1.75/hr up to a maximum of $15 per day; valet parking is $20 per day.
