Conference Registration 

A new policy has been established that registration for all conferences is for Members Only.

Registration for the Annual covers all events from Sunday evening through Thursday afternoon and those who pay in-person fees may also access virtual sessions during or after the conference ends.


We are so excited to announce a new opportunity for conference attendees to attend a Group Event that we are extending the Early Bird Registration deadline to March 29 to make sure you can join us at the best price!  We have arranged a special group seating at historic Wrigley Field for Monday night, May 6th from 6:40pm - close for the Chicago Cubs vs San Diego Padres.  Please go the the event page for more information.

We want everyone to experience the great benefits of being a PIUG member! All non-members will receive a complementary membership for the rest of 2024 with their conference registration.  Use the "New Member" code to sign up and start taking advantage of everything PIUG has to offer today!

It is also suggested that if you would qualify for a lower Membership Rate (i.e. retiree, student, unemployed or from an Emerging Country) that you first go to the Membership Page and join prior to registration.

In-person Presentations and Workshops

All presentations and workshops from May 6th - May 9th will be accessible through the meeting app beginning on May 6th, 2024.

To qualify for the member registration fee, the registrant must have renewed their membership in PIUG for 2023. To establish or renew PIUG membership, go to the PIUG Membership page.  If you let membership lapse for 2024, you will be invoiced for the renewal fee.  

Registration fee includes all breakfasts, lunches, and refreshments during meeting breaks Monday-Wednesday, the Sunday Welcome Reception and the Evening cruise with dinner and open bar as well as Social Times on Monday and Wednesday evenings with appetizers and drinks.

AIIP & PTRC Member rates refers to those AIIP & PTRC Members who are not already members of PIUG. You may register at the discounted rates using a special code available through PIUG by emailing Admin@piug.org.

Virtual Registration Information

Virtual Registration will include access to all scheduled talks and workshops which will be streamed live.  As with past conferences since 2019, the sessions that will be streamed and/or recorded will be posted in the app for later access by all registrants whether in-person or virtual.  The only portions that will not be streamed will be the Unconference Sessions, breaks, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, receptions and the evening cruise.

    Reminder: Please make sure you are logged in as a member to guarantee all applicable options are opened to you.
  • Pay by credit card: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.

Additional Important Information

Bring-a-Friend Promotion

Introduce PIUG to your friends and receive 10% off your registration fees with every friend you refer!  The process is simple.  Invite your friends to register for the 2024 PIUG Annual Conference and have them pay their  invoice.  You register for the annual conference but be sure to hold off on paying your invoice.  After March 15th, 2024 and once all your friends have registered, send an email to admin@piug.org with your invoice number and the email addresses (PIUG IDs) of the friends you referred.  Once your friends have been confirmed, a revised invoice will be sent back to you with your discount applied.  Pay the revised invoice and you are ready to go!

The Details: In order to qualify as a "friend" each referral must be a new member of PIUG who has not attended an in-person conference in the past or is a current or past member who has not attended a conference since 2020.  Virtual events, one-day registrations  or online education webinars are not considered conferences for this promotion.  There is a limit of 5 referrals or a maximum discount of 50% on a member's 2024 conference registration.  Discounts cannot be applied toward any other fees, charges, or transactions and will only apply to the 2024 PIUG Annual Conference registration fee as per the fee schedule above.

Early Bird Deadline for In-Person Registration Rates

The deadline for early bird registration is 11:59 pm EST on March 29th, 2024.   Web registrations must be entered by 11:59 pm EST on March 29th to qualify.

Substitutions, Cancellations and Refunds

If cancellation is received in writing by 11:59 pm EDT on March 24nd, a refund of 90% of the registration fee will be provided. From March 25th until April 28th, the refund will only be 50%. No refunds will be provided after April 28th. All cancellations must be sent in writing to treasurer@piug.org by email or by fax at +1 (302) 660-3276. If you wish to substitute a name for a paid registration, the request must be sent to admin@piug.org by 11:59 pm EDT on April 28th. Substitutions received by this date will be honored without penalty. No substitutions will be permitted after this date.

On-site Registrations

On-site registrations will be available at no additional fee above the registration fee indicated above for on-site registration. However, you should contact admin@piug.org to determine if space is still available prior to making your travel plans.
