Where do we stand in fighting pandemics caused by bacteria?

A closer look into the patent landscape of antibiotics

During this webinar, our panelists will study and analyze the patent landscape of antibiotics to identify global leaders developing the strongest innovation in this field, especially the development of cures against drug-resistant varieties of bacteria.

Using our Patent Asset Index[1], in this webinar, the presenters will examine and discuss:
    • an overview analysis of the antibiotics patent landscape in general
    • an overview analysis of the antibiotics patent landscape for the World Health Organisation (WHO) list of antibiotic-resistant priority pathogens
    • and, a look at companies that recently gained market authorization for new antibiotics

Joining us for this interesting session are Gene Quinn, President and founder of IPWatchdog.com; Dr. Dirk Caspary, Senior Consultant at PatentSight - A LexisNexis Company and an IP leader from the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.

[1] PatentSight Patent Asset Index of a patent portfolio is defined as the aggregate strength of all the patents the portfolio contains. The strength of each individual patent is measured by its Competitive Impact™. The Competitive Impact consists of two dimensions: Technology Relevance™ and Market Coverage™.
