The Journal of the Patent and Trademark Resource Center Association (JPTRCA) is seeking contributions for the upcoming volume year. Topic proposals should be submitted to David Zwicky, Editor (dzwicky@purdue.edu), with finished manuscripts due by February 15, 2022. Manuscripts will be reviewed by the Editorial Board and publication is in April. Articles should be submitted in one of three categories: Scholarly Articles, Featured Articles, or Book Reviews. For the submission and review guidelines see https://tigerprints.clemson.edu/jptrca/policies.html#submission.
JPTRCA publishes articles and reviews in the area of intellectual property – with an emphasis on patents and trademarks – of interest to information specialists in the field. It serves as a means to share research, reports of successful programs and initiatives, and book reviews.
The scope of publications is broad: Authors can submit to the Journal in the areas of patents, trademarks, IP practice, search strategies, patent analysis, stories of innovation and entrepreneurship, the history of intellectual property, instruction, librarianship, or other areas, as appropriate. World count for scholarly articles is a minimum of 2,000 words. Manuscripts for featured or “from the field” articles should be between 500 and 1000 words.
Examples of previous submissions can be found at the JPTRCA (https://tigerprints.clemson.edu/jptrca/). Full submission guidelines are available at https://tigerprints.clemson.edu/jptrca/policies.html.
