Abstract: 

The workshop consists of two parts. Part 1 deals with search strategies for claims with peptide subject-matter, i.e. compounds comprising less than 20 amino acids. Part 2 shall introduce into the searching of claims directed to medical uses. Particular focus will be put on the search for documents which are pertinent for assessment of inventive step.
