I am relaying an inquiry from the Science Librarian at Haverford College (Carol Howe). She would appreciate any recommendations you can share to assist a student researching drug patent life:

There is a student working on a project that deals with the Hatch Waxman Act (1984) and useful patent life.

He was able to find New Drug Application (NDA) approval dates, but he also needs data on NDA submission dates. He has found that the patent information is spotty pre-1984.

He is also looking for data on Investigational New Drug (IND) applications (filing or approval).

Can anyone lead me in the right direction? Thank you!
