Hotel Accommodations

PIUG has made arrangements for the Marriott Boston Cambridge to offer group rates to meeting attendees. This page gives details about pricing, reservation methods, and billing arrangements. Make reservation and see further details about the Marriott Boston Cambridge via their reservations page.

Please note: If you would like to stay at the Marriott Boston Cambridge you must make your own hotel reservation directly with the hotel. Registering for the meeting does not reserve a hotel room for you. Make sure to mention PIUG when making reservations.

Guest Rooms Rates

Hotel's room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 14.45%) in effect at the time of check-out.

Additional Sleeping Rooms

Requests for additional rooms are subject to the discretion of the hotel and will be based on a rate and guest room availability basis.

Method of Reservations

Reservations for the Event will be made by individual attendees directly with Marriott reservations at +1 (800) 228-9290 or +1 (617) 494-6600. Please mention PIUG when you call for reservation.

Cut-off Date

Reservations by attendees must be received on or before Monday, January 22, 2010, (the "Cut-Off Date"). At the Cut-Off Date, Hotel will review the reservation pick up for the Event, release the unreserved rooms for general sale, and determine whether or not it can accept reservations based on a space- and rate-available basis at the Patent Information Users Group (PIUG) group rate after this date.

Directions from Hotel to Amgen

Amgen is about a 10 minute's walk from Marriott Boston Cambridge. From Marriott Boston Cambridge lobby, walk past the taxi stands/valet service and cross the street. You will be on Broadway, make a left and walk up Broadway. Kendall Square and the Amgen Cambridge Research Center are two blocks down on the right.
